Same as comments from Europe this week.  Seems like reasonably good news overall.

I think the economic impact has clearly been sunstantial on all levels of the market. The fact that the KEE Sept. Sale - the biggest annual Thoroughbred sale in the world - broke a record with an amazing 5,555 entries tells you two things: breeders are selling at a record pace and the yearling market is flooded because of it and this is one of the greatest examples of supply outweighing demand in our industry that I've ever seen. That will alays create a buyer's market and plummeting sales prices and averages across the board.

Its not good...there are just too many people urgently trying to sell and not even close to the usual amount of buyers due to owners not having the descrecenary income.
